Your Money, Your Budget

In previous years, the documents for our budget workshops have been posted on the city’s website. That has not been the case so far this year. During our second session last night on the proposed FY2026 budget, I raised this issue once again.

While some of my colleagues on Council believe we shouldn’t post the budget documents we’re currently reviewing in these workshops, I want to be clear: these documents are public records and are available through an open records request. As such, in the interest of transparency and keeping our residents informed, I’ve provided a link to them here.

Please note that the documents available via the above link are not the final budget. The recommendations and discussions we'll have over the course of the budget workshops will influence the proposed budget, and Council will ultimately vote on the final version before July 1st.
